"It's hard to get new eBay sellers to think six months ahead, but now really is the time to start gearing up for the Christmas season," Mrs. Cangelosi says. She went on to state that her sales typically begin to climb just after school starts. She offers several eBay selling tips for those new to the game, including checking out your local consignment shops regularly for hot sellers like kid's toys and holiday clothes. She also says now is the time to begin stocking up on packaging materials, adding that many times you can find boxes and packing peanuts for free if you know where to look.
In addition to the tips offered on her blog, Mrs. Cangelosi is giving one lucky Facebook fan a free eBay store or auction listing review. "I see so many eBay stores that could be much more successful if they just made a few small changes. Sometimes all you need is a second set of eyes to see where the problems are."
