Latest eMarketing Software Could Boost Guest Inviting in BNI
Delegates of the 2011 European Conference excited about new inviting tool developed by BNI Assistant Director James Winsoar.
SOUTH DERBYSHIRE, April 12, 2011 /E-commerce PR News/ -- BNI Assistant Director James Winsoar stumbled upon the concept of a new email marketing package whilst he was inviting visitors to visit his group of local business owners who meet to find out about each other's businesses and possible ways they can pass business to each other using word of mouth marketing.
Winsoar experienced success at inviting businesses to the meeting he and his 23 colleagues attend every Friday lunchtime at the Risley pub, Derbyshire. Winsoar discovered that by emailing local businesses a simple invite many of them were interested in coming to the group which helped his colleagues get more referrals as well as letting people know about the sucessful business generation system that BNI offers.
Winsoar also started contacting local businesses asking for one to one meetings to learn how they may be able to benefit each other. He sent out 50 emails which resulted in 26 meetings as well as invoiced business.
The manual process proved very effective but time-consuming, so Winsoar chose to take on an employee to contact local companies by email to help market his business in the local area.
It occured to Winsoar however that it would be less complicated and more sensible to ask a programmer make a robotic software application that could automate the process of researching local businesses, finding their email addresses, and sending them personalised emails.
Three months of development has resulted in the Email Marketing Robot, a software application that mimicks the behaviour of a real human researcher - who you could be paying GBP8.50 per hour or higher for their services. However the Email Marketing Robot is unlike a human employee because it never grows tired, works continuously from 9am to 5pm without breaks (or whatever times you set it to run), continuously seeking out opportunities for you to do business and contacting up to 45 businesses each hour.
The Email Marketing Robot is easy to use. Just enter your business types (for example these could be the names of vacant BNI seats in your local chapter or core group), and then tap in the names of local towns or cities you would like to target.
Every email that the Email Marketing Robot sends is personalised and in the case of Winsoar's BNI invites the robot automatically inserts the type of business and the area the business is located in the email so that the recipient believes the email has been written to them personally, which it has, by the Robot!
Winsoar has experienced a high degree of success with the Email Marketing Robot already with 7 visitors he invited turning up to the meeting last Friday and 15+ visitors confirmed for next week. Inventor, James Winsoar said, "I had to actually turn the software off because I was worried about too many people turning up and not having enough room for them at the venue!", when asked recently at the 2011 European Conference of BNI held in April at the Lowry Hotel, Manchester.
James Winsoar is looking for referrals to BNI Executive Directors who would like to trial using the software alongside conventional inviting techniques to assertain whether or not email marketing is an effective tool for growing a BNI chapter or core group.
