Lynette Waters Honored for Excellence in Technical Communication
Lynette Waters Brings to Management Services Company Previous Experience in Government
ALBUQUERQUE, NM, July 1, 2009 /E-commerce PR News/ -- Lynette Waters, Lead Senior Technical Writer for Serco, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of technical communication.
Ms. Waters' expertise is in quality assurance. In June 2008, she assumed her current position at Serco, an international management services company. As lead senior technical writer, she is in charge of supervising a team of technical writers, serving as managing editor of the company newsletter, and providing support to the Chief Information Officer. Additionally, she is responsible for receiving task requests, logging/tracking task due dates and status, assigning/distributing tasks to technical writers, Quality Assurance Review of all tasks, submitting 508-Compliant tasks to Federal Lead and SQA, continuing education on 508-Compliance, and providing training and support to technical writers.
Prior to joining Serco, Ms. Waters worked on government contracts. She also previously served as Quality Assurance Manager on contract to support the Bureau of Indian Affairs and decided to build her career in quality assurance and technical writing because she found it beneficial to others. She attributes her success to the unconditional love and support that she received from her mother and to her faith in God.
Ms. Waters attended Central New Mexico Community College for a degree in Computer Technology. She is a member of the Relief Society of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ms. Waters plans to pursue her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees and aspires to become a project manager.
