Barb Dimmitt ventured into eCommerce because she wanted to be her own boss
PEORIA, IL, June 24, 2009 /E-commerce PR News/ -- Barb Dimmitt, Owner of Copper Daisy Company, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of online retail.
Tired of working for other people, Ms. Dimmitt decided to go into business for herself. In 2008, she established Copper Daisy Company, an online store selling comforter sets, sheet sets, bed ensembles, sleeping bags, wall borders, blankets, throws and pillows, and room accessories for infants, children and teenagers. She brings five years of customer service experience to her company and is in charge of managing business and site operations, and researching on new vendors for product sales.
Now happily her own boss, Ms. Dimmitt attributes her success to her perseverance and creativity. She plans to start six more websites through which she will offer thousands of products to clients around the world. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Women.
